ISLAND CLUB + OCEAN CLUB POOLS

Late Spring offers the perfect weather to enjoy some pool time on Jekyll Island!
The Jekyll Island Club Resort has a wonderful pool on-site, complete with a pool bar where you can order drinks and bites.
Guests of the Resort should also take the free shuttle over to the Jekyll Ocean Club to enjoy the ocean-front pool.
OCEAN CLUB BEACH
​
Late Spring is also the perfect time to enjoy the Island's miles of pristine beaches. Guests of the Jekyll Island Club Resort can take the free shuttle over to the Jekyll Ocean Club, where they can request beach chairs and umbrellas be set up along the Club's private beach strip.
Chairs and umbrellas are included in the cost of your room and can be set up for you by the Resort at no additional cost.
DRIFTWOOD BEACH
​
Consistently voted one of TripAdvisor’s “Best of the Best Beaches,” Driftwood Beach is an escape to another world. Ancient driftwood monuments line the waterfront, creating an unforgettable backdrop. Located on the north end of Jekyll Island, Driftwood Beach's gnarled and weathered trees are left behind from years of erosion.

BEACHSIDE HORSEBACK RIDING

Horseback riding through Jekyll Island's marsh, beach, and forest trails is the perfect way to spend your Saturday morning!
Three Oaks Farm offers group and private guided horseback riding. It is highly recommended that you book your tour in advance.

THE CROQUET LAWN
​
A round of Croquet is the perfect way to spend the afternoon after lounging at the Pool or the evening before heading to dinner! Guests of the Jekyll Island Club Resort are able to book one-hour time slots on the Club's famous croquet lawn. Croquet lawn reservations are free for guests, and include mallets and balls.

JEKYLL ISLAND HISTORIC DISTRICT
​
The Jekyll Island National Historic Landmark District comprises the historic homes of some of the Island's famous patrons.
Visitors to the Island can walk around the Historic District and learn the history of these landmark homes.

GEORGIA SEA TURTLE CENTER
​
The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is Georgia's only sea turtle education and rehabilitation facility. The center allows visitors to experience the rehabilitation process in action, with a host of interactive exhibits and experiences for children and adults. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended.

LANDMARK TROLLEY TOUR

Visitors interested in exploring the National Historic Landmark District should consider taking the Island's famous Landmark Trolley Tour. The tour also includes admission to Mosaic, the museum of Jekyll Island's history, and Faith Chapel. Booking your spot on the tour in advance is strongly recommended.

The Pantry at the Jekyll Island Club is famous for its curated Pantry Picnics, which guests can take with them as they explore the Island! Take your picnic lunch to the beach, a historic landmark, or maybe tree-shaded great lawn of the Jekyll Island Club Resort.

TENNIS
​
The Jekyll Island Tennis Center is a public tennis facility featuring 13 Har-tru clay courts. The Tennis Center also includes a pro shop with tennis racket stringing, racket rental, ball machine rental, and tennis equipment and apparel. Making court reservations in advance is strongly recommended.
